ScottishPower Renewables has awarded Vroon Offshore Services a long-term emergency-response and safety-services contract for construction of the East Anglia TWO and East Anglia THREE offshore wind farms off Suffolk. The EUR 8.1 million agreement will provide round-the-clock vessel-based support, logistics and environmental monitoring for projects expected to supply renewable electricity to more than two million homes.

ScottishPower Renewables has awarded Vroon Offshore Services a contract worth more than GBP 7 million to provide emergency response and rescue cover during construction of East Anglia TWO and THREE. Nexans has officially inaugurated the cable laying vessel Nexans Electra in Oslo, bringing a new high-capacity asset into service for subsea infrastructure projects. The company said the vessel is purpose-built for large-scale offshore wind developments and HVDC interconnectors, expanding its installation capacity as demand for subsea cable projects grows.
