Marine Energy Wales reports that Blue Gem Wind has invited businesses in Wales and across the UK to engage with the emerging procurement approach for the planned 100 MW Erebus floating offshore wind project in the Celtic Sea. The exercise will assess supplier capability, capacity, investment needs and potential gaps across manufacturing, ports, vessels, construction, electrical infrastructure and operations. Companies can register interest through Blue Gem Wind's supply-chain database.

The UK and Japan announced an economic package including a UK-Japan Offshore Wind Compact intended to support up to GBP 9 billion of Japanese investment into UK floating offshore wind projects, with named links to Ossian and Green Volt in the North Sea and Erebus in the Celtic Sea.
