Skyborn Renewables has secured €2.1 billion of non-recourse financing from 16 commercial lenders and the European Investment Bank for the 976.5 MW Gennaker offshore wind farm. The project represents more than €3 billion of investment, has entered execution and construction, and remains on track for commercial operations by the end of 2028.

Skyborn Renewables and Uniper said they have signed a long-term power purchase agreement covering 100 MW from the Gennaker offshore wind project in Germany, with the initial 10-year contract due to start after commercial operations begin.

Skyborn Renewables said Stadtwerke Muenchen will acquire a 25% stake in the Gennaker offshore wind project in the German Baltic Sea, supporting the 976.5 MW project as it moves toward construction following long-term power purchase agreements including with Amazon.
