Ocean Winds said its 30 MW Eoliennes Flottantes du Golfe du Lion floating wind farm has reached full power off the Occitanie coast in France. The three-turbine pilot project was developed with Banque des Territoires and is now in full operation, supporting local jobs from its Port-La Nouvelle operations base. Ocean Winds said the project will generate about 110,000 MWh a year and provides a demonstration for commercial-scale floating wind deployment in France and beyond.

Ocean Winds says the first turbine has now been installed at the Dieppe Le Tréport offshore wind farm in France, marking a key construction milestone for the project. The company says the installation follows strong delivery progress across its French portfolio in 2026, including full operation at Île d'Yeu et de Noirmoutier and first power from the EFGL floating project. It also says the milestone demonstrates its ability to execute multiple offshore wind projects across different technologies and phases at the same time. The update is a source-owned construction milestone for one of France's major fixed-bottom offshore wind developments.
