Vattenfall has been awarded the Hesselø and North Sea I Mid projects in Denmark's latest offshore wind tender. The sites have minimum capacities of 800 MW and 1,000 MW respectively, reserved grid connections and 30-year consent terms, with environmental and social considerations to be integrated during development.

Vattenfall subsidiaries have won Danish contracts for the North Sea Mid and Hesselo offshore wind farms, offering DKK504 and DKK542 per MWh respectively under 20-year price guarantees. The projects are due by 2032 and should supply at least 1.8 million homes.
