Crown Estate Scotland says updated Supply Chain Development Statement outlooks for 16 ScotWind projects put predicted Scottish spend at £25.5 billion, averaging £1.6 billion per project across development through operations and maintenance. The update introduces an interactive dashboard to help industry, investors and policymakers assess offshore-wind supply-chain demand, while flagging grid delays, cost pressure, bottlenecks and skills constraints.

The UK's eighth Contracts for Difference allocation round will use five technology pots, retain round-seven strike prices and require signed Gate 2 grid-connection agreements. ORE Catapult identified 20 eligible offshore-wind projects totalling 17.1 GW and highlighted separate support routes for solar, onshore wind, floating wind and emerging technologies.
