Electricity system
Bangladesh Power Development Board is the principal public electricity buyer and generator. Power Grid Bangladesh operates the national transmission system and load-dispatch centre, while BERC regulates the sector and SREDA supports renewable-energy policy and development.
Grid context
Large generators connect to the national grid and appear in Power Grid Bangladesh's dispatch records. The mapped package covers the complete dispatch-visible hydropower and operating wind fleets, plus every dispatch-visible solar plant of at least 20 MW.
