Electricity system
The Ministry of Water Resources and Energy sets policy, ARSEL regulates the electricity sector, SONATREL operates transmission, and Eneo Cameroon remains the principal distribution utility and operator of several legacy generating plants.
Grid context
The southern interconnected grid contains most demand and generation, while northern and eastern systems remain less extensive. The mapped package includes every reconciled operating hydro plant at or above 25 MW and covers 98.93% of operating hydro capacity.
