Electricity system
Energie Electrique du Congo manages the public electricity asset base. The main interconnected network is supplied by Imboulou and Moukoukoulou alongside gas generation and imports, while Liouesso supplies a separate northern network around Ouesso.
Grid context
All three current operating E2C-domain grid-hydropower plants are mapped. Together they cover 100% of current projects and 99.63% of IRENA's rounded national renewable-hydro capacity; unavailable Djoue is excluded.
