Electricity system
Croatia participates in the integrated European electricity market. HOPS operates the transmission system, HERA regulates the sector and HROTE operates the energy market and renewable-support mechanisms.
Grid context
HOPS manages transmission connections. Croatia has an Adriatic coast, but offshore projects would currently require project-specific connection and maritime planning because no dedicated operating offshore sector exists.
