Grid context

Energinet manages offshore grid connection in Denmark and owns the offshore transmission infrastructure, coordinating connection capacity in advance of individual lease awards. Connection is integrated into the tendering process with grid studies completed at zone level before developer selection. Denmark's mature regulatory framework means grid connection is rarely a critical path constraint.
