Electricity system
Energy Fiji Limited is the state-owned vertically integrated utility responsible for generation, transmission, distribution and retail supply across the main island systems. The Department of Energy leads policy and the Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission regulates electricity pricing and service matters.
Grid context
Fiji's electricity supply is divided among island systems rather than one internationally interconnected grid. The mapped package contains the complete current EFL hydro fleet at least 1 MW, the complete operating wind fleet and EFL's operating grid solar farm, totalling 137 MW.
