Electricity system
Electricite de Guinee is the national electricity utility and operates generation, transmission and distribution assets. Kaleta and Souapiti are managed through their dedicated operating companies and supply EDG's interconnected grid alongside EDG-owned generation and regional interconnections.
Grid context
The mapped package contains Garafiri, Kaleta and Souapiti at reviewed exact project points. Together they cover 93.40% of the documented 819.05 MW operating hydropower fleet; five minor stations totalling 54.05 MW remain unplotted rather than being placed at towns or reservoirs.
