Electricity system
The federal Ministry of Electricity oversees generation and the national grid outside the Kurdistan Region. The Kurdistan Regional Government Ministry of Electricity manages the regional system, which is interconnected with federal Iraq and includes Dokan, Darbandikhan and Deralok hydropower.
Grid context
The mapped package combines federal and Kurdistan inventories rather than presenting federal statistics as a complete national view. Nine asset rows across eight projects cover 99.22% of the combined 2,551 MW official operating-hydro denominator; only Hindiya and Kufa, totalling 20 MW, remain unplotted for lack of precise current powerhouse points.
