Electricity system
Electricite du Liban is the state-owned utility responsible for the public generation, transmission and distribution system. The Litani River Authority and the Nahr Ibrahim and Al Bared concessions operate hydropower that supplies the EDL system.
Grid context
The mapped package contains all 13 existing conventional-hydropower stations identified by the EDL-supported JICA field survey. Their detailed EDL and station-level capacities total 273.1 MW; JICA's 282 MW rated total uses a different capacity basis that is recorded explicitly.
