Electricity system
Moldelectrica operates the transmission system and central dispatch, while ANRE regulates electricity licensing and markets. Moldova synchronised with continental Europe in 2022 and continues to strengthen interconnection with Romania.
Grid context
The mapped package contains both existing hydroelectric plants on the official 64 MW Moldovan capacity basis. Stanca-Costesti is represented only at Moldova's 16 MW share, avoiding double-counting the full cross-border facility.
