Electricity system
Nama Power and Water Procurement is Oman's single procurer of power and water capacity and output. Oman Electricity Transmission Company operates the main transmission networks, while the Authority for Public Services Regulation oversees the regulated electricity sector.
Grid context
Large independent power projects supply the Main Interconnected System or Dhofar system under long-term procurement contracts, with OETC and the relevant Nama companies coordinating transmission and supply. The mapped package covers every operating renewable project in Nama PWP's current procured portfolio.
