Electricity system
The System Operator of the Unified Energy System coordinates dispatch and system operation across the Unified Energy System and interconnected wholesale market zones. Rosseti companies own and operate much of the transmission and distribution network, while the Market Council and ATS support wholesale-market governance and trading.
Grid context
Large generators connect through the relevant transmission or distribution network under the regulated technological-connection process and participate in the wholesale or retail market according to their size and location. The mapped package covers 30 exact-site operating wind phases and 81 operating hydro and pumped-storage facilities; the solar layer remains withheld because a representative reusable point inventory was not established.
