Electricity system
Public Utilities Corporation operates the main electricity systems on Mahe, Praslin and La Digue. It owns and operates the central wind, solar and battery assets included in the mapped package.
Grid context
The mapped package covers all 6 MW of national wind capacity, both PUC central solar farms totalling 6 MW and the 5 MW / 3.4 MWh Roche Caiman grid battery. Distributed rooftop and private-island solar are outside scope.
