Electricity system
Slovenia participates in the integrated European electricity market. ELES operates the transmission system, the Energy Agency regulates the sector and Borzen operates market and support functions.
Grid context
ELES manages transmission connections. Slovenia has a short Adriatic coastline, but any offshore project would require project-specific grid and maritime planning and no dedicated offshore connection regime is in operation.
