Grid context

Svenska Kraftnät (SvK) is the Swedish TSO responsible for offshore wind grid connection, assessed under network connection regulations with projects required to demonstrate capacity at proposed connection points. The Swedish grid expansion programme is active but connection queue timelines have been lengthening as the development pipeline grows. No dedicated offshore grid connection framework exists; projects are assessed under general generation interconnection rules.
