Electricity system
Barki Tojik is the principal public electricity utility and operates most national generation, transmission and distribution infrastructure. The Ministry of Energy and Water Resources sets policy, while Pamir Energy serves much of the Gorno-Badakhshan region.
Grid context
The national system is interconnected with neighbouring Central Asian networks. The mapped package covers 98.69% of the capacity in the current official operating-hydropower portfolio, including the operating portion of Rogun.
