Electricity system
The Tunisian Company of Electricity and Gas is the principal national electricity utility and operates most generation, transmission and distribution infrastructure. The Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy sets policy, while ANME leads energy-efficiency and renewable-energy programmes.
Grid context
Large generators connect to STEG's national transmission system, which is interconnected with Algeria and Libya. The mapped package covers all three current operating STEG wind farms and effectively all national onshore-wind capacity.
