Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation (TEIAS) operates the national transmission system and load dispatch, while the Energy Market Regulatory Authority regulates electricity-market licences and tariffs. The Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources runs YEKA competitions, and the draft offshore scheme would pay the winning electricity purchase price through YEKDEM.
The draft YEKA DURES-2026 specification would allocate 1,000 MW of connection capacity. The selected developer would be responsible for the project's studies, permits, pre-licence and licence, while qualifying transmission-tariff costs and eligible curtailment losses would be paid through YEKDEM during the draft 27-year purchase period.
