DescriptionCanopy Offshore Wind, LLC is the project company for RWE’s proposed 1.6 GW floating offshore wind farm off Humboldt County, northern California. BOEM approved assignment of federal lease OCS-P 0561 to the company in 2024. RWE agreed to relinquish its California offshore wind lease under a settlement announced in August 2026.
