DescriptionGolden State Wind LLC is the project company for a proposed floating offshore wind project in BOEM Lease Area OCS-P 0564 in the Morro Bay Wind Energy Area off California. The project was developed by a partnership led by Ocean Winds, and in April 2026 the U.S. Department of the Interior announced an agreement under which Golden State Wind would voluntarily end the lease after making qualifying U.S. energy investments.
