Bendeela (Shoalhaven Scheme)
Bendeela (Shoalhaven Scheme) pumped hydro overview.
Bendeela is the lower pumped-storage power station in the Shoalhaven scheme in New South Wales. Its two reversible Francis units provide 80 MW of generation, using water exchanged between Bendeela Pondage and Lake Yarrunga. Commissioned in 1977, it works with the separate Kangaroo Valley station in a scheme that also supports regional water transfers. In OperationAustralia
