Белмекен pumped hydro overview.

Belmeken is a pumped storage hydropower station in Bulgaria’s Rila Mountains, operating since 1974. Its five Pelton generating units and two pumps connect Belmeken reservoir with the Stankovi Baraki balancing reservoir in the Belmeken–Sestrimo–Momina Klisura cascade.
