Plate Taille
Plate Taille pumped hydro overview.
Plate-Taille is a four-unit pumped-storage power station between the Plate-Taille and Eau d’Heure lakes at Silenrieux in Wallonia. Commissioned in January 1981, it stores electricity by pumping water to the upper lake and releases it through reversible generating units. SOFICO holds the long lease, while the Walloon Public Service manages the installations and the commercial user dispatches them under a separate concession. In OperationBelgium
